  Quick Start:
   
  Starting The Boss Button:
  The Boss Button can be started in one of the following ways:
 
  • Installing The Boss Button.
  • Double clicking on The Boss Button icon located on your desktop.
  • Clicking on The Boss Button icon located on your Windows Start | Programs menu.
  • Logging on to Windows. (The Boss Button has been added to your Startup menu).
   The Boss Button displays a small icon on your Windows taskbar when it is running.
   
  Hiding Windows:
  To hide windows, simply press the "Ctrl" and "Space" buttons of your keyboard at the same time.  Pressing these two buttons at the same time will instantly hide any FireFox™ or Internet Explorer™ window instantly.
   
  Showing Hidden Windows:
  To show (restore) hidden windows, simply press the "Ctrl" (Hot Key 1)  and "Space" (Hot Key 2) buttons of your keyboard at the same time.  Pressing these two buttons at the same time will instantly show (restore) any windows that The Boss Button has hidden.
   
  Please Note:  You may add or remove the types of program windows that are hidden as well as the keys (Hot Key 1 and Hot Key 2) that trigger hide and show by using the "Settings" screen.  These settings are described below.
   
  Changing Settings:
  The following settings may be changed at any time:
  • The programs who's windows will be hidden by The Boss Button
  • The Hot Keys that trigger hiding and showing windows
  To open the Settings screen:
  1. Right click on The Boss Button Icon on your Windows taskbar which is located on the bottom right side of your screen.
  2. Select "Show Settings Screen."

  Adding a new program to hide:
 
  1. Ensure that the program is currently running.
  2. Click the "Refresh List" button.
  3. Select the program from the "Available Programs" box.
  4. Click the "Add Selected Item" button.
  5. Click the "Save" button.
  You may add any program to the list such including:
  • Yahoo, AOL or MSN Messenger
  • Gmail Chat
  • Windows Media Player
  • Video Games and more!
   
  Removing a program from the list of programs to hide:
 
  1. Select the program from the "Programs To Hide" box.
  2. Click the "Remove Selected Item" button.
  3. Click the "Save" button.
   
   
  Hot Keys:
 

The keys that trigger The Boss Button to hide or Show your windows are known as Hot Keys.  Two Hot Keys are needed to trigger The Boss Button.  The default hot keys are "Ctrl" and "Space"
   
  Changing Your Hot Keys:
  You may change your Hot Keys at any time via the Settings screen.  To change your Hot Keys:
  1. Open the Settings screen.
  2. Select a key from the Hot Key 1 drop down box.
  3. Select a key or mouse button from the Hot Key 2 drop down button.
  4. Click the "Save" button.
   
  Hiding and Showing Windows:
  You may hide or show hidden windows by doing any of the following:
  1. Pressing Hot Key 1 and Hot Key 2 at the same time.
